Watched the final episodes tonight and i really didn’t like the second half of this season.
I wasn’t on board with the insanity/hallucination stuff at all. Leonardo DiCaprio does that role so well in Shutter Island, this just felt like a lame rip off.
Yeah I really enjoyed it tbh. Loved that twist.

Just finished the Netflix doc FIFA Uncovered
Crazy to see some of the stuff that was going on in that mafia organisation. I dont think it will ever be clear of corruption due to the way it is set up, and the way todays world is.
However, the end of the 4th programme was the strangest thing for me, where it says that the US Dept of Justice actually declared FIFA as victims themselves and awarded them a load of money in compensation!

I watched the first episode of Succession a little while back and didn’t go back to it. It didn’t grip me. Should I give it another shot?
Separately, just finished Dopesick. Really strong acting all around but as per usual, Michael Keaton is wonderful. Really enjoyed it.

I just finished watching The Americans all the way through for the second time. Along with The Wire that might be a top two all time show for me - watching it back again really underscored how carefully plotted the entire show was from the start, the acting and writing is just top notch, and they consistently did such a great job conjuring up the details and feeling of 1980s America. And unlike so many shows these days that can’t figure out how to wrap things up, it ends absolutely perfectly, with such a great final season and a last episode that has a legitimate case for best series finale ever of any tv drama.

Watched a few Netfilx series recently.
Managed to finish Narcos finally, absolutely brilliant, really enjoyed it. Didnt think the 3rd series would be warranted as Escobar had gone but it was as good as the previous 2.
Also watched the FIFA Uncovered doc which was sicknening but a great watch.
That set up is corrupt from top to bottom and always will be, WANKERS
Woodstock, Trainwreck
Absolutely brilliant doc about the 99 revamped Woodstock festival and how it turned into a barrell of shit. I love music and festivals so this was good for behind scenes workings at festivals etc
Currently watching the Luis Figo saga, which again is good for behind the scenes and chats with the main players involved about what happened.

Train wreck was my favourite Netflix documentary so far.
Followed that up with a few podcasts shows on it.
