West Ham vs Arsenal (PL)

Let’s just hope that the cat kicker gets two footed today

Scored against West Ham, destroyer of London teams

I seen that haha.

Good on him

It would be disappointing if we don’t pick up 3 points against these, even though Bowen vs Nuno is not an ideal match up.

2-0 win to us.

Now they are definitely resting players and if they don’t, the players would be tired.
No excuse for us to not win

Do we play before or after Spurs?

Straight after.

Ive just seen that spurs play first in every remaining match week. Definitely, absolutely nothing coincidental about it.

Gonna give us an advantage when we play them on the 12th of May.

How do you see the West Ham game going? I judged the last 5 correctly (surprised myself!) but I genuinely can’t call this one…

Dunno.
But we shouldn’t underestimate them and rely on them taking it easy ahead of the second leg of the Europa League semi final.

We gotta go at them at 100%.

With Craig Dawson also serving a one-match suspension for Sunday’s Premier League test against Arsenal, Moyes was queried during his press conference if he would consider giving an opportunity to any of young players who have steered the U23s to second place in Premier League 2 Division 1 this season.

He added: “I think, ideally, you’d always like to reward the young players. Some of our U23s have done great this year. They’re going to finish second in their league, behind Manchester City, which is an incredible achievement. It shows the signs.

“It’s not just that. Our U18s are second in their league, our U17s have just won the London Cup, and there’s a lot of things behind the scenes that are beginning to grow and be better here.

“But I think when it’s the games like Arsenal and the level of those players, I think you need to be careful when you put young players in. You need to make sure you help your senior players as well and that they’ve got enough belief to rely on the players around them."

Zouma will have to play even though he may be fatigued from the game against Frankfurt. They’ve got no choice with Diop, Dawson and Ogbonna out.

It’s as good a time to play WHU as we could have hoped. Injury hit defence, key players carrying fatigue and the squad potentially distracted by a huge European game next week.

Still, the game against Frankfurt is on Thursday so they do have resting time. Expect at least two to start out of Rice, Bowen and Antonio. Maybe they start Benrahma instead of Bowen today.

I’m watching this with my mate who is West Ham who doesn’t mind us winning if it means spurs don’t get a top four place.

We should win because West Ham have the EL semi final after this, which is a far bigger game and some of their best players will be rested.
But if they do bring in a few fringe players or youngsters against us, they might be more up for it than players who will start against Frankfurt.

It might be hard to break them down so I’ll go for a low scoring draw, 1-1 with Saka to score.

Nervous.

0-3

Would be a terrible result
