Fucking hell thats textbook red.

The officials and the system keeps telling players this is ok, its only going to end one way.

Which year rulebook did VAR used to say that was fine? 1907?

That’s a mental decision.

I hate the refs in this country. They are beyond shit

That’s a red, clear intent, regardless that offender missed and ended up looking pathetic.

Suspect that ref is going to have a weekend off very soon, maybe a few.

Sensible people the Norwegians, first refusing to play Israel in a WC qualifier and now this, I should’ve never moved back to this god forsaken country.

Time to remind people what was life like before VAR. Deal with minor inconveniences of incompetent refs because VAR took out the blatant corruption

Without VAR, there were only 3 corrupted refs.
With VAR, you have more corrupted personnel (upstairs) controlling the game results.

Can they rule out the above goal?
I don’t think so

Not this one, but didn’t they ruled out a lot of things already?
When VAR is needed, they disappeared.
Just like a gang upstairs and down the field working together, covering each others ass…
The more people they have, the more easier to fix the game.

Remember the Newcastle game last season??
3 consecutive incidents that led to their winning goal, and they said no VAR??

VAR doesn’t give that, goal line tech does.

You are basically saying you are okay with all 100 decisions being corrupt instead of having 30 less corrupt decisions saved by VAR.

If you don’t think VAR save us against referreing bias, recall this. Again Manchester United

Given as an offside by on-field ref and VAR corrected it

In the end, they can only fuck us up for very subjective decisions and not for blatant ones which they use to get away with.

VAR saved some calls, also missing some calls, intentionally or not.
If there is no control or accountability of the authority, better not using it till there is better regulation and supervision.

I rather we don’t get fucked 100% for some dream scenario where there is better regulation and supervision.
I have followed PL for almost 20 years now and expecting better regulation and supervision to happen in future is a foolish endeavor.

I’m coming round to the idea of have better, faster more accurate tech for offsides (like in the ECL) and buzzers notifying officials of all ball out of play decisions (not just goals) and VAR to spot any violent conduct missed by the officials then leave the rest of the on-field decisions to the 3 officials on duty.

Oh and a change to the law in the EPL meaning that whatever is decided applies at both ends of the field with fouls. If we’re chalking-off goals for unintentional handball, we should be giving penalties at the other end for the same thing or alternatively revert back to how it was, meaning a handball is a deliberate attempt to play the ball with a hand or arm.

If the EPL did all the above, we’d still have debatable decisions but we always have. But at least it’ll remove a lot of authority from the VAR lads and put pressure on officials to make the right call first time round.

There. I’ve sorted it all, now I just need to be in charge of the PGMOL and things will improve.
