Victor Osimhen

Seems totally reasonable from his end. I can’t really knock the guy for having his agent secure the bag. Handsomely rewarded labor is still labor and you always side with labor (unless it’s a police union).

If he wants out so badly, you’d think he’d accept a short term stint in KSA just to have them pay the release clause.

I unlike a lot of Napoli fans feels like he was railroaded from both camps into signing his new contract, ADL because he didn’t want to lose him on a free and his agent because he wanted a big payday.
Although I think Napoli might buckle in the end towards PSG, I have a little theory of my own.
He doesn’t want to go to Chelsea under any circumstances including a loan because he knows they are a club in trouble . I think at the end of the transfer window the signing which is going to come out of the blue, is we get Osimhen on loan for a year which means we are all on with him next year paying his transfer fee and so we don’t anger the FFP god.

I reiterate it’s just a little tingle in my bones so don’t laugh at me please thank you very much you’re welcome.

He doesn’t really fit though does he profile-wise?

He’s the kind of striker that would potentially hugely frustrate someone like Arteta.

Personality wise I agree, profile wise I’m not so sure.
We did want Vlahovic before and his all-around game wasn’t great either.

Edit: I’ve just remembered a few years ago we were also linked with DCL. I remember Ornstein as well saying he is highly thought of by our staff. Another one with Aouar where we dodged a bullet. :grimacing:

I think Vlahovic’s is superior to Osimhen in that area

But true that they were interested in him, may have not worked out though

We’ll hold you to this one.:squinting_face_with_tongue:

Move this thread to the players section, obviously.:joy:

From the trend of the past two seasons, I don’t know what players Edu/Arteta will get, but I do know that kind of players we will not.

Possibly incoming on loan

Any reports?

Can we even loan a loaned out player?

Well presumably Napoli and gala would agree to cancel the loan. Arsenal would have to pay a fee to Napoli that makes it worth it for them to do.

Napoli could just say fuck off though

Not sure there is much point now.

Half way through the season…there is always a point. Come on @Jules …we can still do this! :muscle:

I’ll take it.

Could have a very high upside.

I’m down for this. Better than no movement at all, and if it works out could be a really good move.

Anyone at this point.

Based on no reliable reports

Not Eduardo Hagain.

If true Napoli are nuts to turn that down

Galatasaray have an annual revenue of €211m and their most expensive transfer EVER is €18m

Are we really expected to believe that they have now decided to spend 30% of their total annual revenue and more than triple their transfer record?

Sounds like a Napoli leak to drum up interest in the summer and keep his transfer fee high
