Victor Osimhen

He said logical reason.

Chelsea can’t afford him. First time in 20 years :wenger:

How on-brand would it be for their current ownership to scramble around balancing the books, manage to do so only to then take another leap of faith and pay the big bucks for Osimhen? :joy:

I think he will go to PSG…they will be able to outbid Chelsea.

Probably, however, PSG have been suspect of delaying deals till very late on, especially under Campos.

Perhaps they change approach this summer but I reckon with the money involved that deal will take time.

they lost Mbappe, not in a position to delay anything.

And now we know why he wasn’t taking pens for Nigeria. :joy:

That’s good coaching to have the Napoli players not just lining up along the box but taking these timed, curved runs to end up bursting into the box right as the ball is struck. Three Napoli players end up closest to that rebound.

Allegri’s players look pretty unprepared for that situation in comparison.

I forgot Szezney ever played for us.

They’re actually gonna go for it.

Not only can PSG arrive soon on matchday Osimhen to open negotiations, but there have been the first contacts with Chelsea to understand the feasibility of a possible 80-90 million operation with a counterpart in the form of Lukaku and a young man

Honestly what an idiot signing that deal who actually advises these guys?

If he could be had for a cheap price after this season bringing his value down, he’d be worth a pop.

But at the Napoli price, no chance.

Isn’t he the highest paid player in Serie A? I think it’s logical to take the first big contract you get.

Imagine you turn down that contract and get Shawcrossed a few games later, only to never reach the heights you were at pre injury.

It can definitely be a bad move sometimes to get tied down on a lengthy contract like this, but I totally get why players do itm

Don’t know why Gianluca Di Marzio continues to link Osimhen to us despite the tremendous transfer fee to pay in one solution.

And he’s always speculating about it as well. It’s not a sure thing, it’s always “we can see Arsenal entering the race, they want that type of striker”.

Even Romano says nothing is happening, no one is budging on what they want to happen.

Any word on what this dude did to be persona non grata

He must have pissed them off big time

He wanted a new contract because he wasn’t earning the type of wages for someone who won a Scudetto and was at the time touted as one of the top strikers in the world, also he had one year on his contract left.

So his agent being the greedy cunt that he is got him a €10 Million a year contact and ADL being the vindictive cunt that he is set his release clause at €120 Million to be paid up front. ADL had no intention of paying him these wages which were due at the start of this season.

He’s agreed personal terms with PSG but they won’t pay the release clause, he doesn’t want to go to Saudi and in the words of Elvis Costello " I don’t want to go to Chelsea " nor go on loan.
Conte has been instructed to not have him in the squad.

That’s it in a very large nutshell!

He’s got a bit of an attitude as well right?
I wasn’t aware of it until you mentioned to me years ago that he and Spalletti had a fallout during a preseason with Napoli.
He definitely comes off a bit like a prima donna. Mind you, a lot of high profile forwards are like that. I think as long as you’re delivering on the pitch people can accept it but once you don’t or you had a bit of a down season like Osimhen did it throws interested teams off, especially for the money that a deal for him would cost if you include fees and wages.
