That window of theirs in 2022 was so funny. I remember seeing neutrals “rank the window” for each PL team and they creaming all over the business Spurs did.
Almost all of the players they signed flopped, with Udogie being the only exception and coincidentally the one who was bought and sent back on loan to Udinese.

Conte was definitely the culprit. He had people thinking they were cooking something over there.
They did come off a great window that January when they signed Bentancur and Kulu, both ended up being crucial to them claiming a CL spot over us.

They were proper media darlings back then which made it even sweeter when reality hit and their season went to shit.
