UEFA Europa League

So like basically every other year then.

Well when you put it like that. Yes :joy:

The only disappointment is that this will likely be Maguire’s and De Gea’s last season at the club.

Tbf, I can see him seeing SES having 200+ apps for Roma and coming to that conclusion, lol.

For whatever reason though I’ll always associate it him with Milan. Perhaps because that’s where he really made his name.

Schmeichel and Aaron Ramsey on route to get knocked out by Basel in the Conference

How much you believe Mourinho can win it all?

Goal stands, Roma have another.

You always have a chance at silverware with Mou. It’s why Levy sacked him days before a final, innit?

Well played @GC-Maniac. Mourinho doing it again.

Feyenoord gave it a good go.

To think the two most entertaining sides in Napoli and Lazio didn’t make it though.

Napoli I’ll excuse with the injuries but Lazio should have been there with Fiorentina.

Who would have thought West Ham being the English team remaining in Europe along with City lol

Pretty big L for the so called greatest league in the world

Yeah, Napoli were genuinely decimated. I don’t even think Osimhen was completely fit and when they lost Rui and Politano early I knew it was game over.

I know the Europa League is kind of Sevillas jam but that’s a truly awful result for united. To go 2-0 up in the home leg and then out 5-2 on aggregate…that’s atrocious. United have less depth than we do and their starting 11 is a lower base too. They had a nice run post world cup but they have been shown as the mediocre outfit they are these last few weeks.

After the howlers they made in this game, they might still be at Man U next season because any potential buyers will be looking elsewhere after watching their shambolic performances.

I think the overload eventually caught up with them. That, and that brand of football will always backfire.

Respectball like that needs efficiency. Once you stop converting that half chance like you used to and the defence starts leaking goals, you’re fucked.

Quality season for the Italian teams but ultimately I think it’s a one off, Milan and Inter for eg in the last 4 of the CL but I don’t believe they’d finish top 4 in the PL over 38 games tbh.

Wouldn’t shock me next season in the slightest if we have zero Italian sides in the last 8 of CL.
