We can only hope this purple patch turns into a five year contract for Rashford at United on something insane like 300k/week. He’ll never perform to that.
He will imo, if they can build a balanced team around him that performs consistently.

I’m not convinced they can or that he’ll continue to play at this level. He’s on X-games mode at the moment. Can’t see it lasting. Good player though. Hope we stay far away from him if he’s available.
Yeah, reckon he keeps it up. Varane said that Rashford reflected on his performances last season and Ronaldo helped him by talking to him a lot.
It’s a mental thing with him. This is the level he should be playing at really. He’s a talented lad that for whatever reason lost his focus in previous years. Seems totally focused now.

Tbf he never had proper stability. He was in and out of the team, they were changing managers, changing players… Tough to be consistent in those circumstances.
Oh I thought it was a health thing. Didn’t he delay surgery to play in the postponed Euro 2020 tournament? He didn’t look right for a while. I don’t buy the idea that he had to refocus on football and stop telling politicians to feed poor kids, that’s just a red herring for old guys who call talk radio to complain about athletes not staying in their lanes.

He is also now fully fit whereas he had some issues in the past few seasons
But I don’t necessarily think he’ll be able to keep this up, to do this season to season is something very few are able to manage
