I found his statement weird. He was out of words realising how much talent there is in this team yet he can’t see Arsenal winning it.
Sure, give Man Utd the edge but it’s gonna be tight regardless. He made it sound like it would be shocking result for us Manchester to lose it.

Haven’t we won’t 3 drawn 2 of our last 5 games against United. Of course he’s right if both teams play to par then yeah United should win but it’s hardly a huge mismatch.

I think his comment about Pepe encapsulating arsenal was fair though. You see flashes of quality but when we’re (he) are bad we can be very very bad

Yeah this is the thing. They’ve already pushed everything back one year. Was supposed to be in Seville this year and Budapest next. And CL was supposed to be Saint Petersburg this year and Munich next. They’ll be extremely reluctant to push them all back again.

Bit annoying that when we’re back in the CL, the EL final will be in Seville though – that’s a lovely trip :star_struck:

There was talk of postponing the EL and CL while they decide how to deal with the rebels. But nothing has been confirmed on that front yet. I imagine this year’s competition will just carry on as planned, though.

Arsenal are already a club low on motivation as it is. Knowing this is completely meaningless to us now is really gonna make the wheels fall off. Although I mean you’d think professional pride would come into it and they’d want a trophy.
