VAR has somehow managed to manufacture a penalty.
EDIT:
Dubious red card in Dortmund’s game. Dahoud through on goal but being pressured from behind by recovering defenders. Ball inadvertently bounces off his knee, losing control of the ball but Dahoud kicks his legs out and goes down.
I don’t think it’s a pen but it most certainly isn’t a red card. Ref goes to the VAR screen but decided that he knew best and stuck to his guns. Pen and a red.
