U.S. Politics

No. The girl always goes in goal.

Listened to the whole Lex Fridman x Trump podcast, I find it very hard to believe that Harris could not handle an hour of easy questions in which she receives minimal pushback and is allowed to give long, rambling and mostly off topic answers.

I find it hard to think of a politician who could not handle such an easy interview lol.

For being the wealthiest country in the world there sure are many people thirsty enough for money that they would sell to the highest foreign bidder.

Isn’t most of that wealth held by like six guys though? :santi:

That’s how they became the wealthiest country lol

I haven’t heard of Tim Pool or had the misfortune of Youtube throwing his content at me for years.

Does he still do that ‘disaffected liberal’ fake bullshit?

Goddamn right.

Interesting to note that Russia would choose to disseminate specifically right wing content, ostensibly to hurt the U.S. and it’s interests.

I checked out some of these guys, not sure what they are influencing and most of them sound not pro-Russian at all. Rubin and Pool sound very much anti-Russian.

What most of them have in common though is they are pro-Zionist.

Could it be another attempt at disinformation to establish the Russia boogeyman

Meanwhile we have AIPAC:

Guess spending 100mln on influencing the election is a-okay when it’s pro-Israel.

I don’t think that really means much considering most establishment talking heads (at least outwardly) and even fringe right talking heads are Zionists.

From what I’ve heard the commonality isn’t so much pro-Russia propaganda but more so anti-Ukraine or anti US support of Ukraine.

This has nothing to do with Zionism or Israel or the Middle East. The DOJ indictment is a public document. You can read the types of talking points they wanted Tenet and their talent to push.

In order to carry out RT’s secret influence campaign in the United States, Kalashnikov and Afanasyeva operated under covert identities at U.S. Company-1. Posing as an outside editor, Kalashnikov edited U.S. Company-1 content, monitored U.S. Company-1’s funding and hiring, and introduced Afanasyeva as a member of his purported editing team. Using the fake personas Helena Shudra and Victoria Pesti, Afanasyeva posted and directed the posting by U.S. Company-1 of hundreds of videos. Afanasyeva also collected information from and gave instructions to U.S. Company-1 staff. For example, after the March 22, 2024, terrorist attack on a music venue in Moscow, Afanasyeva asked one of U.S. Company-1’s founders to blame Ukraine and the United States for the attack, writing: “I think we can focus on the Ukraine/U.S. angle. . . . [T]he mainstream media spread fake news that ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack yet ISIS itself never made such statements. All terrorists are now detained while they were heading to the border with Ukraine which makes it even more suspicious why they would want to go to Ukraine to hide.”

Between in or about October 2023 and in or about August 2024, RT sent wire transfers to U.S. Company-1 totaling approximately $9.7 million, which represented nearly 90% of U.S. Company-1’s bank deposits from all sources combined. The wires were sent from shell companies in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Mauritius, and were often accompanied by wire notes ascribing the payments to the purchase of electronics. For example, the wire note for a $318,800 wire payment from a shell entity in Turkey to U.S. Company-1 on March 1, read: “BUYING GOODS-INV.013-IPHONE 15 PRO MAX 512GB.”

U.S. Company-1 never disclosed to its viewers that it was funded and directed by RT. Nor did U.S. Company-1 or its two founders register with the Attorney General as an agent of a foreign principal.

That has nothing to do with the indictment. The crime is that the company didn’t disclose that RT was paying them. If RT had just purchased an interest in Tenet or did sponcon segments I don’t know what the DOJ could do about it.

It means quite a lot in my opinion that there are so many on the right and on the left who are pro-Zionist. No matter who wins in November. Netanyahu has Trump’s and Harris’s support.

I’m glad you mentioned they don’t engage in pro-Russian propaganda as I have also pointed out, two of them are even quite anti-Russian. Hardly a reason to call them traitors lol.

That they might be against the war in Ukraine is perfectly possible without being pro-Russia. Just an isolationist standpoint.
