U.S. Politics

I know it has nothing to do with the indictment. Just posting it to show how another organisation spends 10 times the money to influence basically on behalf of the interests of another foreign nation.

Can you provide an example of why you think that about Tim Pool? Because the impression I’ve got of him from the clips I’ve seen over the past year or so of him discussing the Russia/Ukraine war is not that he is anti-Russia.

Here is an example:

This is psychotic. Ukraine is the enemy of this country. Ukraine is our enemy. Being funded by the Democrats, I will stress again, one of the greatest enemies of our nation right now is Ukraine. They are expanding this war. Now, don’t get me wrong. I know you’ve got criminal elements of the US government pushing them and guiding them and telling them what to do. Ukraine is now accused. A German warrant issued for blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline is triggering this conflict. Ukraine is the greatest threat to this nation and to the world. We should rescind all funding and financing, pull out all military support, and we should apologize to Russia.

Presumably when you watch/listen/read that you can see why Russia might think this guy is a useful idiot who can help further their agenda?

Didn’t that happen months after the initial Russian invasion into Ukraine?

I have listened to some of his youtube videos and nowhere is he coming across as pro-Russia. He doesn’t really like Russia. He is anti US involvement in yet another war: Ukraine. Those two things aren’t the same thing.

Also his X profile is interesting, depicting Ukraine and Israel flag. The pro-Israel stance I already highlighted.

Also according to WIRED, the focus on those videos he is accused of was on different topics:

Right, and being against supporting Ukraine in that war is good enough for the Russians, they don’t need him to be actively and obviously pro-Russian in order for him to help serve their interests. In fact, it’s more effective as propoganda if he doesn’t obviously appear to be a literal Russian shill.

So you aren’t actually going to point to anything he has said? The most I’m getting from you is a Ukraine flag on his twitter bio? You said he seems anti-Russian, so point to something. I pointed to him saying Ukraine is the USA’s greatest enemy and that Russia is owed an apology, which you have totally ignored and made no comment on.

Edit: also, he has only just added the flags to his profile since this news broke

So the one thing you’ve been able to point to so far is literally worthless

You only need to see the first two mins for the “gaffe”

If you follow American politics, Rich Lowry dropping the n-word during a live tv hit is like 0/10 on the surprise-o-meter.

:arteta3: Dude just oozes corruption. My right leaning friend who resides part time in NY was bigging up this mush mouth swine as exactly what NYC needs.

Little money and some cosy trips to Istanbul are enough to influence him to make sure he:

Shortly after he was inaugurated in 2022, an Adams staffer assured the diplomat that the new mayor would not make a statement on 1915 massacres of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire that Washington has called a genocide.

It’s so weird this denial on the behalf of the Turkish government and so many Turks that this genocide happened against Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, Kurds etc. whilst there is an abundance of evidence to prove it.

It extends now to territorial claims on behalf of Turkey and Azerbaijan, whilst Armenian history in the region goes back to pre-historic times. They are literally one of the oldest civilizations in the south Caucus. Whilst the other two nations conquered those regions around the 11th century coming from Central Asia.

AIPAC backed candidates and corruption.

Iconic duo

Why are you bringing up AIPAC when his charges have absolutely nothing to do with it?

Just saying.

Guys like Adams and Richie Torres muscling in and beating out popular local candidates while being backed by the likes of big corporate donors and the likes of AIPAC, always end up turning out corrupt it seems.

Yeah, okay but I’m not sure why it’s relevant to mention AIPAC though. The corruption in this case has to do with Turkey, not Israel.

Lobbying and corruption is hell of a drug.
