Pelosi and other dinosaurs like her need to go. McConnell, Finestein, Grassley, the whole geriatric crew. It’s absolutely insane that we have a legislative body run by folks who probably don’t know what a gif is and who think you can still save up 20% for a down payment on a house if you just “cut back” on things and rent an apartment for a year or two.
You don’t have do anything, the optics is enough to sway public sentiment.

Don’t think this impacts the DNC at all. They’re going to get crushed in the mid terms regardless.
It probably has nothing to do with them, however from the outside it just looks like a political hit job on the side of the democrats, similar to Russia gate etc.
You can say all day long as this isn’t a politics move, which is easy to say if you hate trump.

It’s easy to say if you know the first thing about investigating and prosecuting a criminal case. It’s completely irrelevant who the target is. He’s being treated like anyone else.
The DOJ reports to the AG, and the President appoints the AG. In this case the AG is a former Federal Judge named Merrick Garland that Biden appointed. Also at play is the FBI who reports to the FBI Director, a guy named Chris Wray who Trump appointed.
Crucially, the DOJ is supposed to have a level of autonomy with respect to the White House. Same with the FBI.
If you truly believe that the Federal government is actually full of Liberals bent on destroying Trump then idk what to tell you. I worked in government and still do. People are there to do their jobs regardless of who the elected or appointed official is at the head of the office.

You can’t refrain from enforcing the law and protecting national security just because “it doesn’t look good” to people who don’t understand how these things work.
In this particular case, there seems to be a very high chance that were some massively important national security concerns involved. By many accounts, Trump took documents that were classified at an extremely high level - stuff that maybe a handful of people in the entire government are read into. Taking that home to begin with is a massive counter-intelligence problem for the US government (and a crime). Then he apparently seems to have not given it all back even when asked very nicely and formally. Meanwhile, he is probably keeping it in a file cabinet or something in a fucking golf course hotel, through which all sorts of people (including possibly intelligence assets of other countries) are transiting on a daily basis. Its a total nightmare from a counter-intelligence standpoint.
If a regular person (ie, not a former president) did that, the government would have come down like a ton of bricks on them months if not years ago.
Boring, so you think people have forgotten about Hilary Clinton’s private sever incident and how it was handled…don’t you think the common person will use they common sense and compare the situation to each other. Am guessing you think people have short memories or just ignore democrat malfeasance.

Are you joking? The FBI director not only announced an investigation into it the summer before the 2016 election and criticized her handling of the emails and he announced new evidence like a week before the election.
You’re entitled to your opinion as to whether enough was done but you can’t just make up facts. The FBI did look into it.
