Trump

12bn burned on a poorly judged war with Trump seeking more money from congress.

Feel bad for anyone that has to inherit the FG after Trump

Only winner is weapon manufacturers - selling arms to US, selling arms to Iran, selling arms to Middle East and now that Europe has to fund Ukrainians, they will be selling arms to Europe.

It just feels like elites playing with common folks to just move tax money into arms and thereafter into their pockets

US President Donald Trump expressed surprise that Iran had attacked its Gulf neighbours.

On Monday, Trump said that “nobody expected” Iran’s leaders to fire missiles in retaliation for US-Israel strikes.

“In the last two weeks, they weren’t supposed to go after all these other countries in the Middle East,” he said, BBC’s US partner CBS reports.

“Nobody expected that. We were shocked and they fought back. They could have yielded, but think of it if we weren’t around. They had tremendous power.”

Did this dipshit really think they could attack Iran and Iran would not go after their regional allies. How ill prepared for this war was Trump? Why would he think Iran would just yield and give America/Israel an easy win.

I think you’ll find that the US have already totally defeated Iran 100% and will defeat them some more!

Oh yes how could I forget how they’ve completely destroyed all of Iran’s military capabilities and they’re now begging America for a ceasefire lol

I think what’s more disturbing are the calls here for the UK to join in attacking Iran, despite there being absolutely no legal basis to go to war. The thing which is going under the radar, which I am personally furious about, is that the US are relaxing the sanctions on Russia to try to bring the price of oil down. This is another betrayal of Europe and it riles me even more than some people still think we should have closer ties with the US and we should continue to turn our back on Europe.

I think he either ignored those voices (the pentagon and Joint Chiefs were under no illusions this would be terrible) or he was prevented from hearing much of it as opposed to the filth spouted by his pro-Israeli handlers and advisors that this would be easy etc. E.g. kushner, Witkoff

Yeah, so outrageous considering we definitely don’t have a long, long history of doing things like that to the point that it’s one of the most defining aspects of our culture’s history.

Don’t worry, it’s all covered by the DOGE savings

>Start a trade war with your allies.

>Threaten invasion of a NATO country.

>Withdraw aid to Ukraine.

>Ease restrictions on Russia.

>Start a war on behalf of Israel.

Complain that your allies don’t come to help fix the mess you started and seemingly can’t now control.

For all the shit people give Starmer, i’m fucking glad we have someone in office that’s ‘boring and sensible’ for the most part. The UK needs to stay the fuck away from all the overseas BS. 2003 must not repeated.

I believe Rubio when he first said that Israel went for it, and they had no choice but to back them up.

Europe needs to be concerned about all the refugees that’s gonna pour in coming years even if the war ends.
A lot of Iranians & Middle Eastern folks won’t feel safe given the volatile nature of US politics in next 3-4 years.

Trump has talked about war on Iran twice in one year and executed one

This is an indirect war to destabilise EU as well and I hope European leaders could see it
Russia has nothing to do with it. It’s all USA and Israel

That’s what we have all been saying but the European leaders are so vassalised they are cheering it on.

This needs to be chanted at every stadium in the WC

As we mentioned earlier, the Pentagon has reportedly asked the White House to approve more than $200bn (£151bn) to fund the war in Iran, according to the Washington Post - but it would still have to go through Congress.

In December, lawmakers approved a record $901bn budget for US defence spending this year - but President Donald Trump has been asking for more.

He argued that the defence funding must reach $1.5tn in 2027 to address what he described as “very troubled and dangerous times”.

We live in a world so disgusting that a country rife with homelessness, poverty, a serious mental health problem, growing income inequality, national drug epidemic… somehow has $901bn for defence spending

And can find $200bn to fund a war against a country that posed no imminent threat to them.
