I’ve watched a lot of You Tubers commentating on the Epstein cover-up. I’m not even going to bother to call it an “alleged cover-up”, Trump’s inability to keep his trap shut means that he’s put his foot in it.
What has surprised me is that YT’ers who rarely venture into politics like “Some Ordinary Gamer” and “Coffeezilla” are having their say. The more left wing content providers are saying that MAGA supporters are angry about it.
It’s difficult to get independent, non-partisan news commentary in the US so I’d be interested in hearing from any of our US-based members to know what the vibes are “on the ground” over there. Is everyone talking about it? Is this one of those political stories that even non-political types are getting exercised about?
Have we hit a scandal that will finally crash Trump’s seemingly rock solid base?

I read CNN and they certainly make it seem like he’s in a spot of bother, but they do that on every issue so it’s hard to judge.
Donie O’Sullivan (cnn) does a lot of reporting from within maga rallies etc.

MSNBC (not always reliable) say support for Trump is slipping.
I forgot to mention The Behaviour Panel who’ve assessed Bondi & Trump’s behaviour and have said they are being deceptive. They usually avoid politics too.
I suppose we just have to see what diversion tactic he comes up with now, if it’s really desperate and seems badly planned we’ll know he’s in a panic.
I think these cultists are probably quietly concerned over their own credibility.
Their political identity revolves around conspiracy theories, especially ones related to elite pedophile rings.
Trump initially captured them with the Obama birther stuff, then the Hillary email stuff, then he tried his hand at the JFK stuff. He primed them to be obsessed with conspiracies.

That Some Ordinary Gamer nobhead had some dogshit takes on Israel in the oast year. I guess that doesn’t contradict the assertion that he “rarely ventures into politics”, but this Epstein shit isn’t his first foray.

@JakeyBoy - I’ll look into that. When he’s talking about corrupt tech company practice, I’ve found him to be pretty much on the money but I didn’t know he’d waded-in on Palestine.
So the key elements that have caused Trump to go on the defensive and are each big scandals in themselves are;
*The clearly edited CCTV of Epstein’s cell door and the pathetic excuses given for it.
*The file that Bondi suddenly says doesn’t exist except that Trump has now said it was written by Crooked Hilary and Obama (the two can’t both be true).
*That Epstein was compromised and working for a foreign agent - I’m not Russian to guess which country that could have been

Yep, I know. People actually watch these streamers all day too. They used to do gaming but found out there’s easy money just sitting there giving opinions. Though I must admit I usually watch Vaush’s highlights when a story breaks.
The very partisan anti-Trumper Rick Wilson mentioned “Alligator Island” is set to become a massive corruption scandal too. This is all going to test Trump’s dodgy ticker.

If you want to see the mood of MAGA in the internet sphere go to r/Conservative. They’re still fuming about Epstein. It’s real.
