Trump

Looks like that’s exactly what’s happening.

I said months ago this was the Iraq War playbook— antagonize and instigate a conflict then claim nonexistent nuclear weapons in order to draw consent from a skeptical public. Circumvent congressional approval and strike.

Iraq War 2.0

A journalist who knows him quite intimately said she believes his greatest fear is to be known as a “lame duck president” - so maybe being the most destructive POTUS in history is better than being a lame duck? :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

I am very dubious that Iran is as weak as the narrative in the media seems to suggest. Any invasion like the Iraq war would surely be a horrific battle of attrition.

They are not as strong as they should be and maybe weaker in some ways than Iraq but they are stronger in some ways too and the US is less keen on war than back then.

It would likely be worse than Iraq.

I’m shocked at the amount of dissidents and spies Israel has been able to use in Iran.

These guys have been penetrated by Israeli intelligence so easily.
The ayatollah regime has many people pissed off it seems.

Don’t control your air space = weak

I think trump is blustering big time. I’m pretty confident there won’t be an invasion, boots on the ground or large scale bombing campaign

The fat turd has done allot of unexpected things lately.

You think a boots on the ground invasion is possible?

I think Trump is leveraging Israeli aggression and potential US involvement to pressure Iran into a new nuclear deal. The problem is he’s a very crude negotiator with a flawed underlying methodology, I doubt he’ll be successful

Trying to channel his Ulysses S. Grant

A logical administration wouldn’t engage in a war with Iran or rip up the initial nuclear deal.

Given the duplicity of the US using negotiations as a ruse to attack them why would they renegotiate? The US could renege once again. Israel will one way or another force a war, I don’t see any other outcome.

I think China may use this conflict as a trap the same way Afghanistan was a trap for the Soviets.

The blustering toward Iran is actually just “my big red button is bigger than yours” posting again.

This is mighty fine talk from bone spurs.

‘Juventus, the best name. Very Italian, we have some of the best Italians in the world. Quite the entertainers, I thought they were Zebras, then someone told me it was a football team, but football, it’s a bad name. Soccer is the beautiful name. So they came in Black and white, like the kind of picture I’m painting of IRAN’S UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER’

Has anyone told the Juventus players that they’ve been drafted to the US Army for the land invasion of Iran or Israel*
