An election involving low turnout ie below 50% of eligible voters doesn’t accurately reflect the will of the electorate compared to a vote that polls more people.
We all agree more people being involved in democracy and voting about issues that affect them is a good thing. You cant really give low turnout votes/elections the same prominence compared to a referredum with relatively high voter participation. More people polled means a more accurate reflection of voter intent.
That position does invalid the result at all but high levels of turnout is an important element of democratic will.
People should know that if you made Trump feel special, you can achieve world peace.
That standing ovation will get Trump to end all Middle east conflicts.
