Can they play slow tempo, possession-based football like what we are doing now?
I would pick Musiala. We are more similar to Bayern than Leverkusen.
IMO he would be more useful against packed defense.
EPL does not have that much space to dance around, especially teams against us, always park the bus.

I think Wirtz would be better as an 8
Musiala seems like a Foden-esque player more final third, I donāt think Musiala is a playmaker whereas Wirtz is and can help control the tempo.
Writz is more versatile IMO
Yeah, Wirtz is closer to Pedri, Musiala is closer to Bellingham.
Personally, I rate Musiala more because while Wirtz has been good for Germany, Musiala has been the real star when Iāve seen them.
Wirtz is definitely in the Pedri mould but heās more of a goal threat
Both great young players but Wirtz would be my preference for the reasons stated but before that we need the striker and winger but wouldnāt complain if they brought him in regardless.
Can easily see him at City when KDB leaves sadly
We will have less impact to have Musiala on the team.
Leverkusen starts their attack from Wirtz. He is their main man, their engine.
We will have to adjust Odeās role if we want to maximize Wirtzās output, which I doubt we would do.
I still remember Germany put Gundogan as the CAM and severely affected Wirtzās performance.
Once they took Gundogan out, and started playing simple attacking football, both Wirtz and Musiala were coming alive.
We already have that type of player emerging in Nwaneri, although who knows if heāll turn out to be that good or even a real top class player in the years to come.
We need more playmaking in addtion to attacking threat, I think Odegaard and Wirtz can work together definitely. He can play with and without him.
Our lack of creativity continues to be a big issue.
I just talk from the perspective of what who can help more immediately.
We need a lot of adjustments when letting Wirtz to run the show.
If we do sign him, he will most likely be the highest transfer fee holder and the team builds around him. How about our captain?
If we just insert Wirtz to the exisiting formation and tactics, his potentials are limited.
He will not be the side kick of Ode like Gundogen making ways for KDB.
Luckily, this is not our concern. Just a wishlist discussion here.
Either way we need plenty of change because the way we play isnāt good enough
Simply signing new players is just one part of the answer, Arteta needs to produce answers tactically also.

a good young player but not sure if he is what we need RIGHT NOW.
Think of Martinelli when he was younger and was a pest for defences.
Heās a bit more technical and is willing to attack the box more too.
So in about 2-3 years weāll all have turned on him because he canāt beat his man anymore?
