What an underwhelming list.
Indeed.
you have so much timeâŠ
Precisely.
Sesko looks like the best bet to me!
Facts. I refuse to vote.
Give me Gyokeres

And thatâs why we shouldnât be paying top dollar for any of them.
Yep, any of the striker options are all punts. Personally, Iâd be happy for us to pay a bit over the odds for Sesko to secure him this January, but not talking huge amounts, like ÂŁ10-15m more, so ÂŁ60-ÂŁ70m in total.
None but if I to pick Sesko
I know the striker market is particularly bare at the moment but when has the game ever been awash with world class strikers that were under the age of 23?
In the late 90s, letâs say around 1998 the following strikers were 23 or under:
(Put their best league goal numbers by that point next to them)
Ronaldo - 34 in 36 (league only)
RaĂșl - 25 in 37
Anelka - 17 in 35
Owen - 18 in 36
Trezeguet - 18 in 27
Van Nistelrooy - 31 in 29
Shevchenko - 25 in 29
Totti - 13 in 30
Crespo - 12 in 25
There you go
Henry - 11 in 44
granted not a striker
My biggest gripe with these are the prices attached to these players when theyâre all so raw still.
Villa are putting 100m price tag on Duran after playing so little, Brighton did the same when Ferguson broke through, Atalanta rinsed Man Utd for Hojlund who wasnât even a nailed on starter and PSG paid 80m for Goncalo Ramos.
Where are the latter three now? Itâs ridiculous.
Back when players used to be allowed to express themselves on the pitch. Miss those days.
Could also go around 2008 with Suarez, Falcao, Benzema, Higuain, Cavani, Pato, RooneyâŠ

Didnât Suarez have a 50 goal season at 22-23 when he was at Ajax?
Standards are so different. Youâre paying premium for strikers with 10 goals in all comps because theyâre tall and have a bit of pace.
Fucking hellâŠ
That seems like a pretty exceptional circumstance though I accept that youâre right.
My point in asking the question is, would we really expect there to be a plethora of proven strikers out there under the age of 23 in todayâs game?

Fuck and we went and dropped our transfer record on Francis Jeffers.
