It took a nice little bribe to be promoted ahead of Spurs and 100 years later participation in ESL is like a hereditary tendencies to indulge in suspect morals.
Look back at Wenger years more fondly because this is no longer a club that can be classified as a classy club and no longer a club that can achieve heights like an Invincible season.

regardless of the state of the club when Wenger joined (which is a different debate and the team he got was good), this is a funny one though. People whine 8 windows and 3 managers later over some 2 players still there that you apparently have to play or you go to jail. “Xhaka bad Wenger dragging is down” in 2022 trying to shift responsibility like world class politicians on here. Unfortunately, all clubs have become mega rich over the past twenty years. It’s no longer an accolade for Wenger. Spurs had more revenue than us last season, for example. All the historically big clubs have got bigger.
