The weather

We had some brief sun and then been miserable again! I need some sunshine!

Hmmm. Borderline temps for tomorrow night’s match. Most likely to be wet snow but even 0.5 oC difference either way could be the difference between rain and big flakes of snow.

On the plus side. We might get a rare outing for…

I genuinely love March one of the best months of the year. Not for temperature but for the daylight returning

Feels like Spring is tentatively arriving. Went for a lunch time walk the other day and it was perfect. Sun out, bit of a nip in the air, not a cloud in the sky, could get a nice pace going without being either cold or sweaty.

I love Spring, best season imo.

First cut of the lawn yesterday, who said hitting your 40’s wasn’t all rock and roll :joy:

I love this part of the year as the rate of day-by-day changes in daylight is at it’s fastest when we reach the Spring equinox on 21/22 March. It then slows to a crawl by mid June.

The long range forecasters seem to be convinced that Spring will have a more Southerly and/or South Westerly flow over the UK. Wetter but milder than the last 3 Springs which were dominated by colder Easterly and North Easterly flows. It’s totally fucked the last three Springs here on the East coast, it took ages to warm-up here over the last 3 years.

Have to say ‘Home thoughts from abroad’ resonates a bit.
