This is much more on the players than the manager. A lot of them fold or panic at the first sight of trouble.
Tbf he wasn’t even in a race for the last half of his tenure. This shit we are seeing now is pure dogshit of the highest level but it doesn’t mean the late Wenger years were better.

No it’s not lol. Arteta sets them up to be toothless. He buys the players that aren’t cut out for it. When we go 1 up he asks them to sit back and invite pressure instead of going for it.

Sure, he does deserve criticism for team set up, changes, etc. Players also have to perform. Outside of Rice and Gabi, I see a lot of players that do not seem to have the ability to step up when things are tough and make a difference.

I’ve had the belief all along but it’s full dread mode now. How do you pick yourself up from a run like that when the next league game is against city. Basically it’s win there or bust. What a fucking atrocious position to have put ourselves in.

I actually felt we were riding our luck before that. The decline wasn’t sudden.
Away at Spurs was the last time we looked good and won by a comfortable margin. We started to just about get over the line you can’t keep doing that when there’s still 20 games to go in 4 competitions.
