The turnaround over the last two seasons is absolutely insane. Genuinely world class squad management by Arteta and Edu and fantastic effort from Josh Kroenke to support it.
We essentially don’t have a weak link in any part of the pitch. It’s not like during Wenger where we sacrificed the attack for our defence or our midfielder for our attack etc. and where we always had 3-4 players in the starting lineup that had no business being there.
I never have an “oh god, X Player is going to cost us the game” feeling of worry now. Every player and their backup are genuinely brilliant and while the jury is still out on Vieira and ESR etc. Arteta has my full trust in being able to get the absolute best out of them - and if not he’ll move them on asap and get someone in who does reach the required level.
It’s such an amazing feeling - and the crazy thing is how many players we’ve had out injured this season from our bench and starting lineup and yet we’ve still been able to maintain this level.
Absolutely incredible - if we sign 1-2 additional players in the summer and don’t lost any key players we’re going to be unstoppable. Our quality of depth with be on par with City.

I’ve been saying this for a while and the best is yet to come given the age profile of these players. We can literally go into the transfer market now and target top quality upgrades or try and invest in good younger players with potential.
We have given ourselves the best opportunity to become the dominant PL team over the next few years.

I still maintain that we’ll lose out, but man, they’ve done an impressive number on this club given where we were 4 seasons ago.
Man Utd, Chelsea and Spurs would swap situations in a heartbeat.
I hope the boys have the mettle to bring back 1 or 2 trophies this season! COYG!

if it affects us, it will also affect City.
This March/April international break comes every year, and never appears to affect City. Must be a mentality thing, I wonder what their team talks are like during the final stretch of a league campaign.
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the table finished the way it is now, 3 teams all within a point of each other.

We are absolutely stacked in the defensive area. Saliba, Gabriel, White, Tomi, Timber, Kiwior and Zinchenko. A wonderful mix of different tools for Tets to play with. 1 or 2 of these will se very little playing time though, and will try to look elsewhere eventuallly.

We really need to get Partey and at least one other defender fit and firing for the run in.
Not great hitting 105 minutes and you’ve only made one sub. Players like ESR, Vieira, Nelson are on the bench for show. Arteta just doesn’t trust them.
