Had the last few days off work and was my first day back in the office this week. The guy opposite me is a Gooner too so I just popped my head up and casually commented about how good it is watching us right now. No bragging or anything, just a proud supporter.
Then the guy down the end of my line of desks shouts over to us ‘you lot need to calm down, it’s getting boring hearing you lot these days’.
I mean, we haven’t and very possibly aren’t even gonna win it in the end, yet we have opposition fans so triggered right now

Fuck em, mofo’s always be triggered when it’s anything to do with Arsenal and people will always find a way to denigrate anything we do, whether that be winning the league because Liverpool and city were poor or because we’ve “over celebrated” beating Liverpool in a title race.

Man Utd and Chelsea and plenty of Madrid teams have shown that a big transfer budget isn’t any kind of guarantee for success.

Who said this? Anytime Arteta stumbled first thing that’s bought up is the cost of this team and that there’s ‘No excuses’ no one is in denial about the spending.
To say Arteta spending a lot so he has to succeed is just a lazy statement.
I want to know how we compete against City and Pool if not spending. No Rice, no Kai, and rely on crocks like Jesus and Zinny and Partey and Tomi?
Spending will not guarantee success but not spending will basically prevent you to win anything.
It is just the entrance fee and first step to the right direction.
Coaching, managing (like injuries), schedules, matchups, forms… they are so many factors that will affect the chance of winning the titles.
