Who on their right mind would want to go unbeaten but lose the title?
I love the 2004 team but going unbeaten in this iteration of the Premier League would be a lot harder than it was then. And it was almost impossible then.
I asked a dumb question
Not winning the PL but going unbeaten means, not only would we be the only team to have done it twice, we’d also be the first to do it and not win the title.
The worst scenario is us going all season undefeated but spurs winning the title.

Yups! That’s right I was, changed my tune after the City game. The Title’s blown wide open. And Spurs are title contenders too, even though I know we don’t want to admit it.

It’s sickening to acknowledge but the season has gone on long enough to assume they’ll do something this year. It’s the performances to go with the results and no European distractions.

They’ve beaten Fulham who we’ve failed to beat. They beat Liverpool (yes, VAR but they still got 3 points).
They beat Man City every year, so that’s at least another 3 points coming for them.
I want them to fail, but they’re actually a very good side this year.
People who say “they haven’t played anyone yet”, they’ve played Liverpool and Arsenal and got 4 points.
They’re winning games they’re supposed to be winning, and getting points from games they shouldn’t be getting any from.
Injuries is probably the only thing that’ll stop them from at least mounting something of a charge.
There’s 4 title contenders so far: Spurs, City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

I agree, they should have at least 2 losses to their name. Against us and Liverpool.
they may make some noise throughout the season but I don’t see them as true contender, at least not right now.
Tipping this is the year they’ll fail to beat Man City at home.
