He said “ja” as he did it and had just referencd “the war”, he was clearly mockingly doing a nazi salute because Tuchel is German. The interpretation makes perfect sense given the context and isn’t an exaggeration.

Harry is old school where doing stuff like that was done without any real malice, kind of a casual jokey thing. It was a staple in British comedy for many years after the war. Context is everything of course, but everything is so fucking touchy now.

The thing that annoys me is that I will be reading a book on the sofa downstairs or watching something on the telly, start nodding off, go upstairs and get into bed and be wide awake again.

Me too. I’ll happily fall asleep at 8pm on the couch then when I try get into my bed, the very contraption designed for sleeping, it’s like I’ve snorted a pound of meth (I have).
