The randomly nothing thread

I was in my 30s when I realized how late sunsets are in some parts of the world. The first time realization is mind blowing for someone who has never seen sunset beyond 7pm

If she wasn’t sure about the climatic differences between America and Scotland, she could have just looked it up, or perhaps Jenny doesn’t have Google in Texas. :grinning:

Talking to other human beings and asking them questions is like, so last century :grinning:

Mad transformation. Good for him.

Was years before I heard this, but the nickname goes beyond his large stature. His surname is Labbett and la bĕte is French for the beast.

Which I think is fantastic.

Out of a dozen or so kids in Hugo’s pre-school class, there were two Silas, and they all share the same birthday.

What’s the plural of Silas…? Silei? (Pronounced: sile-eye?) :man_shrugging:t3:

That boy missing in Tenerife, just been on the news that people have raised 36k for the family on crowdfunder. Good for them doing that but I can’t help but think where has everyone got this spare money to help a random family?!

Without wanting to sound too negative, the chances of finding him alive must now be pretty slim. On his own with no water/rations in a desert-like area for over 10 days.

Erm the thought should more be, where is the money going?

How is people donating a couple of quid a surprise?! children in need, Comic relief. Any mate doing the London Mararhon. Or any sponsored walk etc. Have you never donated money?

I don’t know what Scotland is like but It’s worth noting for England that some of us have spare money
