Joanna Lumley’s name is actually spelled Joanna Lolmondeley but she knew that wouldn’t fly in showbiz
Quite a few of my mates are going out to watch the game in Highbury tonight. What are most people’s preferences for catching a game if you can’t be at the game itself?
- Home alone
- Out with friends

There’s something about watching us around other people I just can’t cope with. Even if my company is fellow gooners.
It’s very hit or miss for me. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I hate it.
Watching it with fellow gooners up near the ground hits different though.
At home, because I can shout whatever I want at whoever I want and it won’t result in a public order offence
Usually I prefer watching alone but thoroughly enjoyed watching in an Arsenal Fan pub in NY
I don’t quite enjoy the weird opinion thrown by randomers. Some get quite cringe. The whole “Theo doesn’t have a footballing brain” comment did happen to me in real life.
I much prefer watching arsenal games at home.
You can’t really enjoy it as much in a pub. Only time I like the pub is for international games and non arsenal games
Bingo! Completely agree, a June/July world cup game in the pub beats none.
Unless I’m in the stadium I much prefer watching alone. Other football fans are one of the worst things about football to me.
Haha yeah.
Watched one in a pub against Liverpool and we lost against the Scouse Bastards.
Not good.
My preference would be watching with mates at one of our gaffs.
Due to geography and family, tends to be watching home alone vast majority of the time, and thats fine.
I pretty much always watch sports by myself. Some things I’ll watch with select mates at one of our houses but generally never go out to watch sports with random people.
Especially fight sports, can’t stand watching thoae around clueless randoms.
I don’t get to choose. Hanging in on a dodgy fucking stream that breaks the game into 80 mini sequences.
Basically I watch home alone or with @AW49 on a few occasions at one of our houses.
Don’t mind going out to a pub for the odd game here and there.
Can’t stand having non Arsenal fans at mine watching. I’ll host at mine for neutral prem nights not involving us if non Arsenal mates want to come lol.
nsfw…probably
kinda graphic (blood etc) so beware

The YouTube tv update that moves the video to a smaller size on the left hand side so you can read the comments on the right hand side without the video being blocked by the comments is great
I love driving but I really can’t drive for more than 3 hours.
It’s crazy a direct rail link from SF to LA has taken well over 100 years to exist.
