Why would the Pankhurst Line be any better or less forced than the Suffragette Line? Iād imagine anyone who objects to it being called the Suffragette Line would have the same issue with it being named after a specific Suffragette.
Exactly, the current naming conventions just work. Whenever I want to travel to Jubilee, Circle or District I instinctively know which tube line I need to get on without checking a map.
Nah but seriously, I do think these new names suck too.

My wifeās grandmother on her motherās side celebrated her 104th birthday recently last week, and used to drink and smoke quite frequently for about 70% of her lifetime (not that I endorse it though).
