American ‘moderates’ are morons.
The first thing is, is this registered democrats or the whole population? Because I’d imagine the registered Democrats vote for a more left wing candidate on average.
Also while he does have a few points lead, he started with a far higher lead and Warren’s lead has been a continual upward trajectory.
If Bernie realises he can’t wins and backs Warren it will give her a big bump. As it is I don’t see how Bernie can win, his is dropping in numbers as Warren rises.
If Biden runs, Trump will make it a smear campaign. Although I do genuinely wonder if certain swing voters in the mid west purple states are less likely to come out for a woman than they would a man.
But Warren’s message has continued to see her popularity grow. As a billionaire herself she is in a great position to finance a campaign.
Because of all of this establishment centrists Dems are actually panicked that they won’t get their corporate candidate in Biden and they’re disussing bringing back Hillary or bringing in Michelle Obama or Bloomberg.
Although ofcourse this is concerning for Warren

Back to the topic; she clearly had an agenda because she did not allow him to answer the first question, and completely let the answer for the second go over her head (clearly scripted a response).
