If you are of the conviction there are only two genders, there’s nothing wrong with holding that view. We have sections of the forum where it can be debated if you are so inclined.
There is however, no need to be horrible about that, or to post “memes” designed to mock trans people. I appreciate, @ashgooner that you have stopped doing it and thank you for not doing so again.

I deleted the post. It’s not funny, it’s designed to antagonise and offend and isn’t done so with a witty or comedic touch to it.
We are all entitled to our opinions but sometimes I think it’s just a bit shitty to share things that are designed to actually belittle people and not really done in the name of comedy.
You can absolutely believe there are are only two sexes. That’s a biological fact. I’m not quick to draw on the transphobic line but I do think that post at the very least borders on transphobia.

Well if we are going down this road and I’m fully supportive, i would like to say as a boomer and someone who has had that title used on here, that the racist connotation in a said post wasn’t pleasant to be connected with.
I fully accept it wasn’t deemed at me personally in anyway but still, it’s not a great look.
I can agree with this in light of what was deleted above. It’s just one of those things where we can all laugh and joke at things even if they’re offensive but some things are designed to be hateful without any comedic value to them.
I’ll delete the boomer post too and probably best if we steer clear of things that are just flat out offensive. I’m also aware I liked the boomer post in response to AG post too, so I totally accept it makes me look like a bit of a hypocrite which I’m happy to hold my hands up too.

This is where the problem lies is it not? Deeming something offensive when offense is taken. Who was offended? Who is the arbiter of what’s funny? Is everything offensive that I don’t agree with? How many trans people were hurt by that post? We can’t keep deeming everything we disagree with as offensive.

Fair play mate. No slight on anyone and think we can all be a bit guilty of not always seeing things from other perspectives.
