I don’t watch reality TV because it’s too cringy but I’ve seen clips of politicians trying to act normal and they always fail miserably because they come across as narcissistic ego maniacs.
Hancock has probably planned everything he’s going to say and do but hasn’t got the self awareness to realise that he was unpopular before he went on it and the media are going to twist everything against him.
There are so many “celebrities,” all desperately clamouring for attention, that it’s easy for producers of reality shows to find people willing to ridicule themselves by acting and behaving like pigs at a trough.
