Fucking ridiculous, I thought that was just a meme. like when looking at some one 5’10, 5’11, 6’0 it isn’t even that obvious. Also I though average height was 175cm which is like 5’9 anyway so why the discrimination? Their loss anyway mate, you got them super tight curls, people pay hundreds and still can’t get it like that. That type of DNA to good for people like that.
Haha I’m the same, tall girls short girls dark girls fair girls, boobs legs bums whatever, I really don’t have a preference at all - curvaceous or athletic, I’m into it all. One thing I really don’t like and is a massive turn off for me is being fat though, but at least that’s something you can change about yourself. Height really can’t be changed.
@BizzySignal haha thanks man appreciate it, it took me a few years but it really doesn’t bother me now and I’ve had plenty of luck with girls so I know that height isn’t that important to a lot of them. It’s just frustrating as I wouldn’t be opposed to dating a girl taller than me, and that I’m not the one who would have a complex around it.
My girlfriend for example has stopped wearing heels since dating me because they make her as tall as me which makes her self conscious
Its a psychological thing where girls prefer to have guy taller and bigger than them, not because their pussy gets wet by looking at tall guys but a subconscious sense of security or something.
I reckon you could say this for a lot of preferences, really. Apparently studies show that men who were breast fed are more likely to favour big boobs as being their main factor in attraction.
I think there are probably psychological reasons for lots of people’s preferences or types, I don’t think that means it’s no longer about attraction but instead psychology, it can be both.

Yeah I wouldn’t want to date someone shorter than me. I know it is kind of prejudicial as people can’t change their height. But, fortunately, being tiny means I never have that problem anyway, so I don’t ever have to feel guilty about my choice
I would certainly never write height preferences on a dating profile though. Or anything to do with looks. I actually know someone who put a salary demand on her Tinder. She wanted a guy who earned over a certain amount. The cheek of it

You’d be surprised. Some guys weirdly find it a turn on to be able to splash the cash around. Usually guys who are a bit older though and want a younger woman on their arm. But I agree with you, it is gross to put that on a profile.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is women rarely specifically stick to “their type”. I’ve dated / been with plenty of women who are taller than me or express preference for tall guys. I’m not tall, but I’m very confident in myself so I don’t ever really feel like anyone I talk to is “beyond me”.
