I’m short. Only 5 foot 1 and a half. One of the worst things for me is having to ask people to get things for me from the top shelf in the supermarket. I literally ask random strangers

I have the solution for this. Go to Aldi and Lidl only. They don’t really stack that high.

I dunno what the crossover is like between here and the UK now (bloody Brexit) but Aldi do something called Birra Mapelli which almost matches up to the real thing imo. Some of their IPAs are absolutely top class too.

There’s a Sainsbury’s local near me I pop into quite a lot to be fair
Ocado switched from Waitrose products to Marks and Spencers and I’m not mad about it

Also @Cristo I never knew shorter people really got abuse like that, unless someone was like 4 foot or something.
I don’t get abuse for being short. I just get called cute and asked for ID until I am 30

Ahh yeah so much bullying haha Often specifically related to being short but also physical bullying where they could just push you around because you were smaller.
You also wouldn’t believe how many women aren’t interested in guys under 5’10” - hell, when I was on tinder there were so many girls that said guys under 6’ need not apply and a lot of my mates say it’s still like that.

Yeah, pretty sure that’s a real thing. Certainly seems to be based on the reality dating shows I watch from time to time lol. That’s what I’m working with, having never been on these dating apps in my life. They sound horrible, really glad I bypassed that shite entirely.
I don’t get it, but maybe that’s cos I’m not the kind of person to have a strict type that I refuse to step outside. I like tall, skinny girls, but short, curvy girls definitely are a type I’m equally into as well. So basically two totally opposite body types. So I don’t get women who won’t consider a man who isn’t tall, particularly when it seems to supercede things like having a nice looking face, or a personality. Amount of below average men eating well purely based on their height is a mad one 
But then again, I have male mates who are strict with their types, who won’t date women who don’t have big boobs, so I suppose some of these women aren’t alone in being pretty narrow minded in terms of their type.
