Well the process was botched and would of been thrown out in a normal court. None of the witnesses he brought forward we’re interviewed. He himself did not get interrogated till two years down the line. The funny thing is the issue the brought this up change the stuff that is put in our milk and made it safer to drink.

I think they’ve reached a point where they’ve gotten away with so much brazen corruption that nothing really feels “too much” at this point. They’ll take whatever risks are necessary knowing the outcome will likely be brushed under the carpet or quickly forgotten about.
The opposition are weak, the media are still largely right leaning and we’ve recovered reasonably well (economically) from the pandemic so I don’t see any situation where the Tories lose the next general election

John Major isn’t a fan of the current Tory Party that got through Brexit anyway. John Major is similar to Tony Blair in that way, a bought and paid for EU defender, for big banks and multinationals. I will cede that Boris Johnson has always been an opportunistic fraud though. He was with John Major et al., against Brexit, until he saw that getting behind it was his ticket to becoming Tory Party leader.
He is a chancer and will say and do anything to get power.
He’s lied and cheated all through his career, as a journalist, Mayor of London and politician.
Yet people still vote for him because he ruffles his hair up before every interview and behaves like a buffoon.

The guy is enough of a shameless cunt to prolong any consequences as long as he can, but eventually his litany of transgressions will catch up to him, especially if these guys are beginning to turn against him now.
This specific scandal of government corruption seems to have hit home where others didn’t, even if this has done nothing too. Still, at least it’s getting decent airtime.
And that makes me think the BBC, senior Tories and other machinations of the Tory party have turned at least a tiny bit against the gov.
