My gripe is I know it will be spent incorrectly. Senior NHS management and politicians themselves are so incompetent.

Most politicians are incompetent but if there’s one thing Tory politicians are good at, it’s lining their own pockets with backhanders given to them by big, non tax paying businesses, that fund their party.
You understand it well. Many people think “Labour-lite” for Tories or “Tory-lite” for Labour is political weakness but it isn’t really. It is just corruption all around. The state of this country is genuinely depressing. If it was some south American or African country the media would be bleating on about how corruption is rife. There needs to be big changes for it to recover.
