The Conservative Party

He’s doing well in the jungle :person_shrugging:t3:

Yeah, there is a bit of a redemption going on. He’s not being voted to do all the trials any more and he’s one of the favourites to win.

He handled himself about as well as anyone could have given the number of trials he had to do.

Boy George and Chris Moyles getting singled out by the public now which is great.

George has been horrible so far, such a diva and a shit stirrer.

His attempt to rehabilitate his public image is clearly going well, how depressingly predictable.

“Ooh Im a nice guy who just fell in love, and look how lovely I am to everyone in the jungle, sure I’ll eat all the bugs as penance, I can take it on the chin with dignity, please like me”

Fuck right off with your calculated act you piece of shit. You can stick the book you’re promoting up your fucking arse as well.

The British public are pathetic, they’ll fucking swallow anything.

If you can swallow Brexit, you will swallow anything.

Find the right topic and you could probably persuade people to swallow a cock

Can’t talk too much about Brexit though, or we’ll summon the Chuckle Brothers

I naïvely thought it would be so clear to everyone from the outset what he was after that the people wouldn’t let him get away with it. I guess you can’t trust the public.

I was talking to my girlfriend about this, that his game plan was clearly going into this knowing everyone would be out to get him and that he’d be doing all the trials and to basically just take the trials like a man and a form of public penitence.

The fact that he has completed the trials really well and gotten loads of stars has obviously helped especially when the others that end up doing the trials are fucking useless and don’t get any stars.

It was so clear what he was trying to achieve haha but I guess it’s humanised him to the public.

He’s definitely been training for this

Yeah he’s definitely had a PR company consulting with him on how to present himself and what to say, I’m sure of it.

If I was going in there, I would be training my palette with gross foods in advance. That’s the only difficult thing to do in these tasks.

Asses, cocks and bugs. That’s about it

Can’t wait for his pandemic diaries.

Day 13: sent old people with covid back into care homes to infect everyone else there.
Day 14: secured my mate down the pub a covid contract via a backdoor process when he has zero experience in producing or providing medical gear
Day 15: had it off with my mistress in the office while pretending to work late
Day 16: had a jolly old knees up with Boris, Carrie and Dominic at number 10. El vino did flow!
Day 17: reminded the public to stay at home, not socialise with each other, unless they wanted to face fines of thousands of pounds
Day 18: stood on the doorstep at 8pm and clapped all the nurses and doctors

Get. Fucked. Cunt.

Question to much of the above, are people who watch whatever program this is, even political? Like would they care or even know what a tosser he was as an mp?

Of course there will be some who don’t care for politics. But I’d say there is a large overlap for sure - especially since the pandemic. That lot in government during that time were more known to the public than any government before them.

And when Matt Hancock first went in, viewers were hating on him and voting for him to do the tasks. People are just easily swayed.

Yeah fair enough, I’ll trust your judgement on this as I never watch such programs. The only thing to add further, is maybe people separate their politics from their tv shows, I mean didn’t George Galloway do big brother once. Also, I don’t think people, on the whole, care that much about flouting of covid rules.

They do. Read twitter when its on

You mention George Galloway later, people would have had little idea what he was about cos he was just an MP, and as far as I’m aware, not one that ever held a cabinet or even shadow cabinet position. Whereas Hancock was Health Secretary during an unprecedented pandemic, people’s awareness of who he is definitely dwarves that of a mere MP.

But yeah, the majority will still likely know fuck all about the actual ins and outs of what he did. You see looooads of fuckers saying “Boris did his best in hard circumstances, you can’t blame him” etc, I suspect many feel similar about Hancock when they see him being a decent bloke in the jungle, judging by the positive reception he is apparently getting.

My girlfriend and I have started voting for Matt Hancock to do the trials because he’s the only one capable of bringing home the stars and they’re all starving lol

I don’t think you get how this show is supposed to work lol
