Just going back in England’s history we shouldn’t have a Welsh, Scottish, French, Italian, Norwegian, Dutch, Danish, American or Spanish manager.

Doesn’t induce fear? That is laughable. The most productive player in one of the best 2/3 teams in the country and one of England’s best performing players is somehow not on top of the opposition’s agenda according to this.
Easy to nullify Saka? So name me who has successfully nullified him when he’s produced what he has done this season. Unless you’ve just come up with your own definition of what a good player is and what it means to be uninvolved in a game.
You have to be obtuse to say Saka has never been nullified. Why are you confining the discussion to just 7 games?
There are so many games Saka has been mediocre in open play but manages to get an assist from corners to boost his numbers.
A truly world-class player won’t have as many games in which he is unable to influence the game as Saka does.
Saka tries a lot and is really crucial for our success but he is a tier below world class.
He just doesn’t influence games or induce fear like Salah does, like De Bruyne does, like Vinicius…
We are talking about worldclass, not just good.

I know it is against the majority, but I do agree of what you said.
His numbers inflated a bit by the corners he took (yet he needs to be good to take corners), and there were games that he was ineffective but because he got an assist he was forgiven.
He is a real talent or maybe the setup of the team could not show his true abilities.
At least I want to see him drifiting into central area more and making an influence there, not just hugging the byline so much.

I’ve seen that touted before, I really don’t know on what basis people are confident to say that.
Unless I’m mistaken, these dudes haven’t had a deep cup run since Jose was around.
So far this season, they nearly got knocked out at their ground by City’s kids, got slapped by Galatasaray in Europe and drew a game against the worst Roma in decades.
