these shows are used to rile fans up. Arsenal have one of the biggest fanbases and they want the call money. Why do people still try to fight against it.
Andy Goldstein is a wind up merchant but I still like listening to the show when I am wfh as him and Bent have a good rapport.
Hasn’t been good since Tom Watt was hosting (might be showing my age there).
Goodness me Abonlaghour has not aged well.
Rushden and Baker absolutely stealing a living the amount of shows they present on talksport. Rushden boring enough, but baker is his stooge that goes along with whatever he says.
The downfall of Soccer AM began with Rushden getting the presenting job on there.
Turn talksport on, hear these two on yet again!
Baker ignoring Tottenham being in a relegation battle with a real possibility of going down and saying Iraola would be great for them. This cunt is always so positive about Tottenham. Guess he does so to fit in.
Manu Petit about to knock out Simon Jordan
Things we’d love to see, shut that wannabe posh cunt up for a bit
Catching up on it, the truth lies in-between.
There’s definitely something about Arsenal being successful again that’s rubbing non-Arsenal fans the wrong way.
At the same time, Jordan nailed it when he said negative stories draw more. He even admitted that Man Utd got more traction when they were doing bad.
Why shouldn’t be Arsenal ridiculed when Arsenal fails?
I don’t think that’s true as they have essentially been shite for over a decade now and there is nowhere near the same focus on them as there was with us when equally shite.
Are you suggesting we’re a bigger draw? ![]()
Whatever the reasoning I just think what I said is factual.
Btw, just to make sure, I wasn’t talking about Arsenal v Man Utd. I was talking about Man Utd doing bad draws more than Man Utd doing well.
Haven’t looked into comparing the interest between those two but Arsenal and Man Utd headlines are head and shoulders above the rest, especially when it comes to Talksport.
Saw the video and i don’t see the part where Petit owned Simon.
A lot of pundits in the media try and find a way to criticise us, despite being the top team in Europe by going on about set piece goals, over celebrating or predictable football.
What is strange is that spurs are considered a top PL club but have been just above the relegation places in consecutive seasons, which is way more interesting and funny, yet pundits like Neville and Scholes are more obsessed with us.
I don’t think any one said that?
I think there is a bias and talksport are one of the worst for it because they want to create clicks. I expect some flack as we’re top, but a lot of the time it’s unreasonable
For as poor as United have been and as poor as Tottenham currently are, for as much as Chelsea have spent and the amount of alleged cheating gone on at city, these things don’t get talked about as much as at least in my opinion is turning the game into a shambles with our set piece tactics, or how OUR players set out to move an injured player to injure him further.
They clearly had a bigger rivalry with Arsenal in their playing careers than they did with Spuds.
Scholes experienced losing to Arsenal 13/31 games (incl. a CL loss), whilst winning 14/31
Neville experienced losing to Arsenal 12/30 games, whilst winning 10/30
Vs Spuds, Neville won 18/20 losing only once. Scholes won 23/30 losing only 3
Makes sense they would care about Arsenal more than Spurs
I agree with certain stance where there seems to be one narrative about Arsenal and another for others.
I love the fact that once soft belly Arsenal is now forcing people to talk about regulating corners. Love it.
That said, I completely understand the criticism of Arsenal considering we Arsenal fans ourselves are complaining about the football and dropped points.
Pardew is a cunt.
Arsenal should have an asterisk next to our name when we’re champions. Twat still has that Wenger sized chip on his shoulder.
