Man I wish he could stay fit. Has a year left after this season and apparently an option for another but unsure if it is a player or club option.
Iāll be sad to see him go but the writing was on the wall when we bought Calafiori. Weāve got some makeweights in defence that we wonāt miss. Zinny, Kiwior and Tommy. Weāve got depth in numbers but MLS shouldnāt be one of them, heās our future on the left wing and it looks like his time has arrived.
Such a shame because heās the perfect backup. Can play all across the back and doesnāt give me the character vibe that heād moan for game time.
Him staying fit would be huge but seems it will never happen.

We need to be ruthless and get rid of him.
Being a good squad player who can play anywhere is pointless if he never plays and gets injured as soon as he steps on the grass

I think he will retire soon. Something has gone wrong with his knee. That Trincao turn fucked him up.
Arteta did mention something about his mental health and how he is in Japan to recuperate.
Heās been a great player for us when he has been available, but the injuries are a real concern. I think we need to have a serious look at him in the summerā¦

That was my thought when he went back to Japan.
Though that table looks a bit less bad when you notice that the two top ones are the same issue, dodgy knees.
Surely heās got to be near ready soon, no? The lack of updates on him does worry me a tad.
Seems like heās probably done here but hope for the sake of his mental and career wellbeing he is back up and running sooner rather than later.

Yeah, Iāve long felt that heās probably the likeliest to stay from whatever defenders we make available in the summer.
Doubt weāll have significant offers for him in the summer. Most teams would be scared to take him now.
If heās not on any unreasonable wages then I think weāll take a similar route like we did with Elneny and Tierney.
