Great to see him back and proving a pretty handy player to have, can play both FB positions and seems comfortable with coming into midfield when he does play on the left. Also great that he is a reliable option against top sides too as opposed to just being useful against cannon fodder at the bottom end of the table.

Damn just saw his insta post. He dedicated the goal to his mother who passed away last year.

I wasnā€™t aware of this, did this news circulate online? Maybe (likely) explains why he was going through a rough run of games last season. Puts everything into perspective.

I know we have Timber however Tomi is way too versatile of a player to think of selling. Unless Bayern were/are willing to pay a prime price then I do not see any point in selling him.

There were some who didnā€™t mind selling him last season but he is just too good of a defender to be sold. Now the added versatility this season (including being able to play the Zinchenko role) just makes him a must have.
