yeah its one concept that had me pulling for more of a Simeone type even though he wouldn’t necessarily be a long-term stylistic fit.
I was keen on Simeone too.

These are probably the doods arteta is targeting. I mean we all know he’s a fucking douche so his little act isn’t gonna last long especially without results. Players will give up on him soon enough.
I hope this isn’t at the point of no return (where our stock as a club becomes so low that even proven talent don’t want to come to us, which is half happening now, anyway)
Ideally, the old dudes and Arteta fluke their way to 4th this season and the board give 180mil to a manager who knows what to do with it.

That would be nice but it’s wishful thinking. He’ll bungle his way to 8th and they’ll extend his contract with an 180m transfer budget.
We’ll suffer another season of crap football, remain mid-table not competing for anything, he’ll fall out with Pepe who he’ll promptly exile back to League A, Saka will refuse a new contract while Man City wait in the wings.
