Super Mik Arteta

Cheated. Ffs mate let it go would you. Players forced on him.
You make the case of his integrity and then come up with this stuff.

You are the outlier here, so don’t make me out as odd. As I said earlier, your animus towards Arsene is rather at the extreme of the spectrum.

Honestly man there’s plenty of us on here that believe Wenger fell victim to his own hubris it’s just none of us can be bothered arguing about it anymore. If there’s one thing that has been talked to death on here it’s the Arsene Wenger question.

It’s just that classiness, which is supposed to be part of the club’s heritage, looks after the legacy of its icons and legends, accentuating the positives. As I said, that 100m on Pepe and Saliba wasn’t spent under Wenger. Unfortunately when it comes to our major club legend we have ended up with some of the most unclassy treatment by some fans. It’s painful, and I don’t get why Arsene has to continue to be knocked to.find excuses for the mess over the last two seasons.

By the way, I’m not in disagreement about the last couple of years of Arsene’s tenure and his “hubris”, so even I am in that tent, but that’s not what this is about. It is about not giving Arsene due credit for what he did for the club and also bashing him and blaming him for the last couple of seasons.

Basic tactics and basic system got outdone by another basic tactics and basic system with better players.

Blatant ceiling with Arteta, it is what it is.

Disasterclass. Terrible opponent, terrible structure, terrible adjustments.

Fuck I hate losing to these rancid clowns.

Though let’s be real could have been a very good point had Odegaard not lost complete control of his body and senses

Pluses and minuses but the pressures on at Everton.
Must win game and must get right.

And here come the knee jerk posts lol

People are gonna lose their shit as usual but at the end of the day the chances were there for us to win and win comfortably.
I’m getting worried about Pepe though.

Not mad about this lost, not going to slam Arteta to much

First 15 mins was the intent, and it was well executed but after that the in game management was poor

After 2 years I think it’s safe to say peoples opinions on Arteta aren’t as knee jerk as some want to make it out to be.

I’d be interested to know if anybody in their right mind genuinely believes that we’ve seen “2 years worth of progress” under Arteta? Because I haven’t.

I am a fan of the direction the club are going in but I’m also perfectly capable of coming to the conclusion that the man managing us is probably not going to take us much further than he already has.

Inexperienced players and it’s on how quick we learn.
Where still short in quality though and can’t afford to not move in January.

Slowly edging back to the Arteta out camp. A failure to secure 3 points at Everton will have me well and truly back there.

Losing to a team with Fred in midfield feels not so good.

I’ve been pretty consistent on my opinions on him tbh.

Yeah you have, a lot of fickle posts on here though, or certain people just go quiet when we’re on a run of form, then come crawling from under the woodwork the second we lose
