Super Mik Arteta

This guy needs to go.
I know he is part of a long term strategy but how is the team not capable of playing respectable football after so many months.

Arteta wanting to play high pressing Man City/Liverpool football is the same as me wanting to have a 32 inch waste again and able to run a 100metres in about 11 seconds still. You can want it but it ain’t happening.

He’s saved his bacon for a while tonight though by sweeping a weak West Brom aside in the first half. To be fair Oddguard and Auba making a big difference.

I just wonder…did they basically ignore him tonight…

It was like watching a different team to be fair. More like how we finished last season plus a bit.

Nothing like our first two performances.

I’d be happy if he proves us all wrong and goes on to have a great season with a top 4 finish but I’m still not betting on it.

Lets hope they did

Not getting carried away with the result; it was hardly a championship team.

However, as Wenger said; “Confidence is the easiest thing to lose and the hardest thing to get back”.

This, undoubtedly, contributes positively to that sentiment.

Subbuteo was always a great game.

Tonight was the best thing that could have happened, free scoring with Saka Auba Pepe and Odegaard all on the pitch will hopefully cement this formation and attack. ESR, Laca and Martinelli are fine options off the bench and for rotation.

Need to just sort out the RB situation and have a little more elegence in midfield.

I thought we actually looked fast tonight for a change Tavares, Saka, Auba and Pepe were all lightening fast on the counter. Can’t actually remember the last time we looked a side full of pace.

It was… but I can’t help thinking of this when I read it…

My older brother always used to cheat as he played Man Utd against my Arsenal by not flicking it properly!

I never knew wtf he was saying in this song so it was annoying to me but that’s a banger of a music video if I’ve ever seen one :joy::joy:

In 2013, [Tom Service]also of The Guardian , wrote: “Sussudio brings me out in a cold sweat; the production, the drum machine, the inane sincerity of the lyrics; there’s no colder or more superficial sound in popular music, precisely because it takes itself so seriously.”

Sussudio always reminds me of this ^

This thread needs a “fuck out” added to the name imo. Not even relegation battlers are this shit ffs

I’ve been one of his biggest supporters and he was my first choice over all the other managers in Europe but I think maybe the board should tentatively start looking around for another manager.

I’m not quite sure what it is, but there’s something about his management style that isn’t quite right.

Xhaka doing his boy a solid. Now Mikel can say we should have had a penalty and we were right in the match until that red card :joy::joy:
