Super Mik Arteta

Or it means you don’t score enough… but who the f*ck cares?

Like you said, we lost 13 games, we will likely finish 9th, we are awful to watch, and there is very little to be excited about in terms of progression and development of the team play.

Basically the only scrap I have atm is that we have players like Saka and ESR and Martinelli…

We will likely finish 9th… this is AFC… what the actual f*ck.

Both depend a lot on how things fall… you end up facing Atletico in Euro and a few other relatively challenging opponents with travel, it can knock you out.

FA Cup you can sometimes end up with basically one very tough match. Or maybe 2… that is pretty much it.

This year LC won against Brentford, Brighton, ManU, Soton, and Chelsea… 2 tough matches. Not even two-legged.]

When we won, we beat Leeds, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Shefflied Utd, Man City, and Chelsea… 2 tough matches.

Tired: Trimming squad to account for no European football next season

Wired: Keep enormous squad full of players the coach doesn’t trust and can’t manage. (Except for Saliba. Get that guy out of here.)

Arteta:

Old bums - give me more of these exemplary individuals with unparalleled professionalism.

Promising youngsters - fuck off you attitude having pieces of shit

It wasn’t that long ago, when we were challenging for the title and always in the CL, that we would hear from Wenger and the board that, “big clubs don’t sell their best players.”

But, with our new genius manager, we are having to sell players because we’re mid table and aren’t even in the Mickey Mouse European competition.

Unless the Kroenkes are going to turn into sugar daddy owners who run the club at a big loss for the next few years the balance of probabilities is that declining revenues see a declining standard of squad and coaching staff.

Given our recent years inability to spend our money wisely, then we’re potentially on a slippery slope unless we punch well above our weight from our academy/youth system in the way that a team like Southampton have done for a long time. Saka and ESR have been very promising in particular but we need a lot more now to turn around this latest round of decline.

Maybe a Summer spending splurge will do it but we need Edu and Arteta to out perform in getting value for money and that’s a big ask especially given the poor performance in the last year seeing our league form slump which brings their competence into question.

It seems odds are against a return to CL standards without a massive spending spree spent very wisely and I’m not convinced the wig wearing vampire will have it in him to ensure we do both well (ie commit the money needed and ensure his leadership team do better than those that came before).

Because we have more points since match day 14 than 18 other clubs.

Anyways that’s our 10th league away win, when’s the last time that happened ? 14-15 ?

Funny how we look at performances when we champion Potter but look at points when we want to big up Arteta.

Potter has got both? What more do you want from Potter than consistent PL survival?

Also Arteta has neither performances nor points :arteta:

What warped world are we living in???

Dyche has always had both.
