Super Mik Arteta

CL qualification would be a huge success, hopefully we have enough creativity to do it.

With this signing we should 4th, will be tough though, if United/Spurs/Chelsea start to work.

Leno
Hector Gabriel Luiz Tierney

     Partey Xhaka
         Dani

Pepe Willian
Auba

           Leno
  Holding Luiz Gabriel

Hector Tierney

        Partey Dani

Pepe Willian
Auba

Should in my opinion comfortably get 4th now, my only issue is letting Guen go and Willock being our cover in that position.

Why the fuck have those boxes happened.

Whatever. It isss what it isss

Injuries permitting, it looks like we may be able to put 11 pretty good players on the pitch.

I think we should be aiming for the CL.

I think that Spurs and Chelsea have done so much (obviously Chelsea more than Spurs, but Bale) that signing Partey doesn’t make us a favourite for Champions League qualification suddenly.

I said this after the FA Cup win. EL Champs and behind the title winners by maybe 8 or 10 points at the end of the season, maybe 5 back at Christmas and definite CL qualification. Both lolpool and City look to be different teams to those 100+ point title winning teams. United going nowhere under OGS and Chelsea going nowhere under Lamps. The opportunity really is there for Mikel.

I think we can get top 4.

Maybe 3rd if Mikel stops the nonsense early. If not, maybe scrape top 4/5th. Hopefully this signing helps us win Europa, but again all dependent on if Mikel wants to be oversmart.

CL Qualification is imperative, United and Chelsea aren’t there yet as long as they have their current managers. While I don’t think Everton and Spurs will sustain they will spend and try to improve. The opportunity is now, well it has been that way the last few seasons too. But you know…Unai Emery.

With CL Money and a lot of the bloat’s contracts ending we’ll find ourselves in a much healthier financial situation to really build something.

Sorry, but I disagree…Chelsea will definitely finish in the top 4, DESPITE the manager, Spurs will also be there BECAUSE of the manager…If Arteta can break into the top four, then I really believe that he has done a superb job…Lets wait and see…

Outside chance of a title shot. Top four should be a shoe in.
Massive signing this one. Going to be hard too beat now. Just need some goals spread around a bit now.

I fancy us for third. Outside chance of winning the league. Seeing as we are the only team that doesn’t let in 6 and 7 goals in vs Tottenham or Villa

good signing. now get us CL.

Has Arteta been “backed” in your view?

I’m still concerned about our lack of creativity, which is fundamentally why Pepe needs to be backed and given and good run of games. If we can get the best of him I’m convinced we’re good enough to get 3rd/4th.

We still have 10 days to get Buendia, let’s fucking doooo ittttt.

I’d say somewhere in the middle ground, Partey and Gabriel good signings but ideally we’d have still signed a creative player.

If we ditch the groundsmen we can probably afford this.

Credit to Arteta, Edu and Vinai. I think they knew what they were doing with this. Well fucking played securing our spine this season.

Gabriel, Partey and Willian look like giving Arteta what he wants/needs. I didn’t expect more than 3 signings capable of fitting into the first team.

Significant wage outlay too, which I think clubs look at just as much as transfer fees.

So I think he’s been backed as much as I’d have hoped right now. Our starting XI can now be respectable enough.

Balls in Arteta’s court to deliver this season. Which I think he will.
