It’s a little from column A, a little from column B, imo.
Injuries are a key contributor to results and how we’ve played, but it’s also valid to question the general style of play Arteta has implemented this season. It’s not like we didn’t see any boring, stilted, relatively unambitious football when Saka, Havertz and Martinelli were all fit.

Change formation or change tact. We play one way.
Some (not all) of that is down to personnel also i reckon when you can barely field a cobbled together squad you are very limited.

Yep, said it before you’ve got to just go ‘fuck it’ at some point and try ditching a defender for a striker or something along those lines.
His broadly like for like subs rarely make an impact. Even merino was kind of something different when he came on v leicester (albeit forced difference) and look what happened.
His subs are my biggest gripe with his management. I don’t have a problem being largely fixed to a style but at least really go for it when it doesnt work.
We have seen this with full strength teams.
