Super Mik Arteta

I don’t really have any worries about him leaving any time soon. I think he will be here for a good 10 years or more (we are already at 4 as it is).

Like MM said, he’s in the middle of a big project that appears to be working, we are already a huge club so there’s only a few realistic options for him to move to anyway, he has a huge amount of control here and he seems to really love the club too having the association of being a former player.

And yeah, he’s young as fuck for a manager, he can manage for a good 20+ years still.

He can do a Wenger and stay here for 284 years if this is the level of football we will be seeing.

Barca can get fucked

It must be frustrating that media favourites Klopp and Guardiola haven’t won it but as we’re the only club to get maximum points we should be winning all these awards.

Just saw a stat that he’s won it 7 times in about 163 games.

For comparison, SAL won it 27 times in 800+

Mourinho’s only won it 4 times and Wenger 15.

Klopp 10 and Pep 11.

I really doubt he goes there.

First of all because he has a brain. No way he goes to that unstable inviroment compared to what we are building here.

Second reason… When you look at the last 20+ years, Barca rarely, or never really, push for big coaching names. I do take Arteta as a big name now, or he’s about to become that soon.

Their most successful managers in this century are Pep, Riijkard and Enrique who weren’t exactly big before they joined.
It’s actually a bit strange a club of their stature is so willing to go for exotic South American managers or some young unproven Spanish coaches mostly.
Arteta is just too proven for them at this point lol.

Most have a Barcelona history tho (Guardiola, Vilanova, Enrique and Xavi). Valverde had an experience.

They will be definitely be interested in Arteta because of his playing style. It’s ‘their’ style..

They should take Guardiola back…

Depending when he leaves city I think they will.

And bang it went.

This was big mental block for us. These moments, especially the manner in which it came, can prove pivotal in the future.

It’s similar to how we beat City in the Community Shield and then we went and beat them in the league, and pretty convincingly too.

City went through the same mental block in the CL. They struggled making it deep into the competition but they got over it and have went into the SFs at the very least the previous 4 years.

Kudos to Arteta to make us defensively so strong

Best defense in the Premier league

And hard to break in CL too

Those Wenger days of conceding left right and center are truly of the past now

Yeah, I love the fact we can actually claim to have an elite defence again and love the fact we are one of standard setters when it comes to defenwive shape and organisation.

Yups! These days the only way we concede goals is by gifting it to the opposition. When was the last time someone actually scored a proper goal against us? Was it the first leg vs. Porto a few weeks back?

Lol even that was pretty much a wondergoal. Newcastle scored a consolation which was a nice goal, and before that it was Liverpool with their lucky OG after creating nothing all game. Maybe the Forest goal way back when we played them?

Yeah, even the Newcastle one was a bit of a wonder goal. Willock hit the perfect header.
