Southampton have never lost three home games in all competitions against a single opponent in a calendar year… until now
Fraser Forster has only conceded five goals in his five PL matches against Arsenal, despite the Gunners having 30 shots on target against him… that’ll be doubled on Sunday when we get another 5-0 win against them
This could be close and there might be goals as well.
I’ll go for a score draw, 1-1 or 2-2.
Austin is in a bit of good form, so I expect he’ll get a goal.
Southampton have been quite inconsistent this season.
People were more confident about beating United than they are about us beating the Saints. And United are our true bogey team, the team we struggle against more than any other.
I don’t really believe in this bogey team thing anyway. One week it’s Bolton, then Stoke, then Swansea, then Southampton. It’s just bad luck if we lose a couple of games to the same team.
In general, we struggle against better teams and have a reputation as flat track bullies.
