Southampton v Arsenal (PL)

Sunday December 10, 12pm

BT Sport

  • Southampton have never lost three home games in all competitions against a single opponent in a calendar year… until now

  • Fraser Forster has only conceded five goals in his five PL matches against Arsenal, despite the Gunners having 30 shots on target against him… that’ll be doubled on Sunday when we get another 5-0 win against them

  • Arsenal win

2-0 Southampton

I actually think we’ll do well here, 1-3 win.

Just win. I don’t care how, as they do like to play us.

I do hate you.

A 2-1 victory for The Arsenal, apart from Mustafi, same squad as Utd game, minus the defensive brainfart.

What we’re wearing on Sunday:

This could be close and there might be goals as well.
I’ll go for a score draw, 1-1 or 2-2.
Austin is in a bit of good form, so I expect he’ll get a goal.

Southampton are nothing special really should be winning here like we did in May.

0-2 COYG

Southampton have been quite inconsistent this season.

People were more confident about beating United than they are about us beating the Saints. And United are our true bogey team, the team we struggle against more than any other.

Will say a draw, Southampton have been playing a little better of late, if we defend properly we will win but I’m not sure that we will.

Not recently we’ve had good success against united in the last 10, I knew we’d screw the pooch against united tho, but we’ll cruise in this one.

We’ve already beaten them away twice this year.

I don’t really believe in this bogey team thing anyway. One week it’s Bolton, then Stoke, then Swansea, then Southampton. It’s just bad luck if we lose a couple of games to the same team.

In general, we struggle against better teams and have a reputation as flat track bullies.
