He barely got a toe on it, if his momentum wasn’t already heading in the direction to cut off the pass he woulda never got there.
He posted it on insta as well. A lot of our players seemed to have tried to cheer him up about it.

I’m also absolutely astonished that that penalty wasn’t given against him for hand ball. I would have been absolutely FUMING if that happened at the other end and it wasn’t given, either by ref or VAR

The amazing thing is that we got ourselves in a position last season where Mustafi and Sokratis were our starting CB pairing and after watching consistently mediocre performances went through a whole transfer window and did nothing about it.
I can only assume Emery and the board had been reading Wenger’s book titled If Something Isn’t Working Just Keep Persisting With It Until It Does.
